Cedar and Wagon Wheel Table
A customer asked me to make a table without the tractor seats. She had her own stools and just wanted the table. When I pick up wheels I will usually remove the hubs ans throw them off to the side. I usually don’t throw much away because you never know when you might need it. (Sound familiar anyone?) In this case, I needed hubs and an axle. The table top will hold the wheels together at the top but it needed another anchor point for the wheels to give the table stability. So I replaced the hubs in this set of wheels and made a new wooden axle out of some cedar at my place. It worked great and I was pleased with the final product! More details on the picnic table page.
