Rhonda and I found this stove base on one of our Kansas pickin’ trips. I don’t know if it came off of a wood heating stove or a wood kitchen stove but we knew it was too cool to pass up. I immediately envisioned a table. I took the rusty base to a powder coating shop where they dismantled the base, powdercoated each individual piece and reassembled it. I bought three nice pieces of kiln dried mesquite and built a top for it. What a unique piece it turned out to be! See it on our ‘Tables’ page.
